jealous shades of green
it was seething-green,
they called it, and she
wore it well...
it complimented her
yellow streak that
was out of style,
as was her tone of
voice that rang
like disheveled
windchimes in
a cardboard box..
her encapsulated
ego spewed
spectrum tints
of bile belches...
her written word
shouted of chartreuse
bitterness that
spilled from her
pen, while she sipped
creme de menthe..
envious eyes, glowing
godzilla-green,
accented with
red flush of
embarassment..
her aura shouting
an envious shade
of jealousy, as
her serpent-green
tongue cut her
dignity to shreds...!
